Rules for submitting leave requests
In general, PTO requests are sent to the Head Manager of the Schedule where the coworker works.
- If the coworker works on multiple schedules/locations, identify the main location for the current contractual period (indicated just below the contractual period).
Special cases:
- Multiple schedules in the main location: Choose the Head Manager of the schedule where the coworker has the most recently assigned work shifts.
- No schedule in the main location: Find the Manager of the location (or their supervisor) in the Structure & Hierarchy.
- Main location not defined: Choose the Head Manager of the schedule where the coworker has the most recently assigned work shifts.
PTO requests from the Head Manager of a schedule:
- They are submitted for approval to their Manager in the Structure & Hierarchy.
- If the supervisor is the same person, escalate to the next level and so on.
Example:
Amancio Ortega is the Head Manager of the Aigle Haussmann schedule and the Manager of the "Boulevard Haussmann" location. His leave requests will be sent to Juan Lopez, who is the Manager of the North West Area (his supervisor).
Importance of having a single Manager at each level:
- Facilitates the processing of PTO leave requests.
- To add another Manager, you can add them as an "editor."
- By default, there can only be one Head Manager per schedule.
